We have had people drive all the way from Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, Poland and even Greece! I am now promoting the event to lots of European and Scandinavian countries. If just one person from each country comes it would be brilliant, it's nice to see people from different countries getting together for a party and cool cars. Camping friday to sunday. 30euro per person. Camping saturday to sunday. 25euro per person. Day visitors saturday - sunday. 10euro per person per day. Watercooled cars in the camping area, friday, saturday, sunday. 20euro. You will be refunded the fee once you have unloaded your car and parked it in the car park on the same day you arrived. Watercooled campers do not pay the 20euro. Children under 12 years of age, free entree. My favourite VW shows 'in the heart of Europe' have been Le Bug Show, European Bug In and Das Drag Day. The VW Aircooled Festival is organised by Team Budel, the people that set up the IKW Beautiful Budel, which had been an event for nearly 30 years. In 2012 the Kever Club Nederland who funded the event, split up with Team Budel. KCN now have their event IKW Wanroij and Team Budel started a new Beautiful Budel event, The VW Aircooled Festival. This is our third year and it is already a big event, this year we hoping it will be even bigger. It would be great if we can get the event back to size it used to be which attracted 10,000 - 15,000 visitors. I am trying my best to do that by advertising on as many EU and Scandinavian VW forums as I can find. The show still has the same Beautiful Budel vibe as it did before, hopefully you get to experience it next year. :D 1 Quote Link to comment
